Charles Anthony Leonard, 56 of the Union Hill Community of Morgan County, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Leonard was born November 11, 1961 in Atlanta Georgia to Roy Marrel Leonard and Shirley Faye Keese Leonard. He worked for St. Gobain Company as a furnace operator until he retired in 2017. He enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
Mr. Leonard was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Shirley W. Leonard; his sisters-in-law: Dinio Jolly and Anita Cochran; two uncles: Glenn Keese and Evelyn and Jimmy Keese. He was preceded in death by his sons: Dewayne Wilbourn and Kenneth Wilbourn; his parents: Roy Marrel and Shirley Faye Leonard.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2018 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Brother: Randy Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan City.
Pallbearers will be Barry Johns, Carmon Speakmon, Larry Lang and Richard Wilbourn.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2018 prior to the service.
