R. Eugene King, 83, of Antioch, TN
Mr. King passed away Monday night, April 23, 2018 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville.
He was the son of the late Johny and Delia Glidwell King and is also preceded in death by three brothers, J. D. King of Galloway, TN, Nelson and Joe King, both of Jackson, TN.
Mr. King worked as an electrician for 50 years and retired from Home Depot after 11 years in 2005. He enjoyed and mastered building furniture and refurbishing vintage furniture.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Cossar King; son, Butch (Cathy) King of Dagsboro, DE; daughter, Cindy (Allen) Dawson of Marietta, GA; grandson, Taylor Dawson of Marietta, GA; sisters, Doris King (Don) Jackson of Medon, TN and Ruth King Sipes of Hornsby, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
