Shirley Dean Britt Sutton, 74 of Arab, passed away Friday April 20, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Sutton was born February 21, 1944 in Akron Ohio to Charles Elbert Britt and Mary Ida St. John Britt. She worked for the Arab Post Office as a mail carrier until her retirement. She was married to Charles Don Sutton for 56 years. She enjoyed traveling and crafts, loved jewelry and flowers.
She was a member of Arab First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband: Don Sutton; her children and in-laws: Chuck Sutton and Linda, Sherry Kelly and Brian and Christie Race and Nick; her grandchildren: Matthew Flowers, Andy Sutton and Katie, Maegan Flowers, Dylan Kelly, Adam Sutton and Britt Kelly; her great grandchildren; Cason Flowers and Victoria Henderson.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Monday April 23, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Dr. Paul Murphy, officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday April 23, 2018 prior to the service.
