Irma Stoffel Hermanson, age 79, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hermanson was born in Wiesbaden, Germany to Christian and Anna Stoffel. She married the love of her life Gene on May 20, 1961 and had been married 54 years when Gene passed away in 2015. She worked at the Radison Hotel. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Huntsville.
Mrs. Hermanson was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Gene Lawrence Hermanson and her parents Christian and Anna Stoffel.
She is survived by her son Paul Hermanson (Laura Hilborn).
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Hampton Cove Funeral Home from 3 to 5 pm.
Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Hampton Cove Funeral Home at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
