James Aaron “Jim” Hogeland, 46, of Tuscumbia passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. The memorial service will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Redemption Outreach Church, Russellville, AL with Shawn Reathford officiating.
Jim was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and his dog, Charlie.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Skylerr Hogeland; mother, Sharon Hogeland; nephew, Alex Wellman; and great-niece, Aubrie Calhoun.
Jim is survived by his wife, Amy Woods; father, Jack Hogeland (Mary Walker); sons, Aaron Free and Steven Akers (Ashley); daughter, Ariane Starr; sister, Jaci Hogeland; grandchildren, Weston, Wren, Leilani, Brantley, Zoie, Oakleigh, Preslee; nieces, Melissa Calhoun (Joseph) and Kayla Wellman; nephews, Ryan Romans (Megan) and Cole Akers; 6 great-nieces; 4 great-nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
