Funeral service for Jane Tillman Simmons, 75, will be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Austinville Church of Christ with Bro. Jerry Ross officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Austinville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Simmons died on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1943, in Giles County, Tennessee, to Robert Joe Tillman and Audrey Mae Daughtry Tillman. She was a member of the Cross Point Church of Christ in Florence and the Austinville Church of Christ in Decatur. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, watching birds and collecting seashells and rocks. She loved nature and her hobbies were painting, sewing and cross-stitching.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Billie Joe “B.J. Simmons, a sister: Annie Mae Olive and her parents.
