Thomas Clayton Kimbrell of Jasper, departed this life on April 11, 2018, at the age of 83.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Mark Howell will officiate.
Mr. Kimbrell was preceded in death by his Parents-Sam and Grace Kimbrell; Brother-Sammie Lee Kimbrell; Grandson-Brandon Reid; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law-Phillip and Fannie Hembree; 5 Sisters-in-law and 2 Brothers-in-law.
He is survived by his Wife of 66 years-Sally Hembree Kimbrell; Daughters-Janice Kimbrell, Pat Wood (Barry) and Dana Shipman (Tommy); Brother-Coleman Kimbrell (Bobbie); Grandchildren-Christie Harris, Thomas Wood, Carla Wood and Destry Shipman and Devin Shipman; Great Grandchildren-Canon Harris, Marly Harris and Carter Reid. He is also survived by Tim Aaron and Ashwin Adur, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Child Advocacy Center; 1619 Alabama Ave; Jasper, AL 35501.
