Mrs. Deborah Jane Baker Evans, age 66 of Elkmont, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Evans was born on May 12, 1951 in Cullman, AL to Jessie Claude Baker and Bonnie Inez Swafford Baker Easterwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Melba Dean Jones.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, Buz Evans; son Max Evans (Katie); daughter, Bonnie Baker Evans Pierce (Joseph); grandchildren, Caden James Evans, Hudson Scott Evans, and Emma Katelin Evans; mother-in-law, Barbara Morris Evans; sister, Jean Jones (Virgil); brothers-in-law, Enoch Jones, Boyd Haney Evans, Jesse Price Evans, III (Dawn) and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Evans was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Services for Mrs. Evans will be 2:00PM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Thom Porter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in Leggtown Cemetery.
