Facts About Space, Astronauts And Pizza

We are just a spec in the sky in the big scheme of things.  Just look up and you will know it is true.  Our universe is an amazing thing to behold…..but did you know?

A Space suit costs around $12 million….and only happy people are allowed in space, and do you want to know why?   You cannot cry in space…tears would never fall…

According to astronauts, space smells like charcoaled steak, hot metal and welding fumes.

Did you know in 1962 the United States blew up a Hydrogen Bomb in space…the explosion was more than 100 times as powerful as the explosion in Hiroshima.

If you were aboard the International Space Station you would see 15 sunrises and 15 sunsets every day…how awesome is that?  Speaking of the Space Station…it is the most expensive object ever built at $150 billion.

Did you know a sample of Sir Isacc Newton’s apple tree was sent into space for only one reason…to defy gravity…and on another note in 1977, a signal from deep space was received that lasted 72 seconds.  to this day we still do not know how or where it came from.

On the International Space Station urine is passed through a special water treatment plant that turns it into drinking water…say what!   But did you know…there is a water reservoir floating in space that is equivalent to 140 trillion times all the water in all the Earth’s oceans.

To keep astronaut happy NASA has developed a 3D printed Pizzas…
