Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Dena Faye Tanksley Fortenberry, 57, will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lebanon Cemetery in Speake, Alabama with Bro. Francis Proctor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fortenberry died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 22, 1960, in Lawrence County to Emmett Tanksley and Maggie L. Chaney Tanksley. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by parents and two brothers: Raymond and Nathan Tanksley.
