Mary Edith Curtis Osborne – Obituary

Funeral service for Mary Edith Curtis Osborne, 90, will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Blackman and Rev. Doug Wells  officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.    Burial will be in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Osborne died on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her residence.  She was born  September 18, 1927, in Lawrence  County to Steven Jonathan Curtis and Mina Bolan Curtis.  She was a life-long member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy L. Osborne, Jr., a daughter: Carol McIntyre, a sister: Ruby Fay Wallace, and her parents.

Family wishes to say a special “thanks” to Hospice of the Valley and NHC Rehab for their loving care of Mrs. Osborne.

Nancy Wells (Doug) , Decatur , AL,
Becky Romine (Bob) , Hartselle , AL and
Connie  McCutcheon (Bobby) , Hartselle , AL

One Brother:
Amon Curtis (Maxine), Hartselle, AL

One Sister:
Jewel  Hughes , Hartselle , AL

14 Grandchildren
24 Great Grandchildren and
1 Great Great Grandchild

Pallbearers will be
Larry Long, Jr., Jacob Wells , Adam Wells, Matthew  Powell, Curtis  Long, Michael  Vaughn, Kevin  Vaughn, Josh McIntyre and Clint McIntyre.

In lieu of flowers: family requests memorial contributions be made to Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Valley.
