W.C. Hale – Obituary

W.C. Hale, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born November 13, 1933 to the late Robert Lee Hale and the late Rutha Irene Orear Hale. He worked most of his life in and around the saw mill. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Thursday April 12, 2018, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Guth and Bro. John Griffus officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 Wednesday, April 11, at Senter funeral Home. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, Terry (Jaunita) Hale of Tremont; granddaughters: Holli Hale, Brooke (Matt) Ewing, and Karen (Brandon) Nichols; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Nellie (Murray) Higgins, Dottie (William) Hester, Ann (Gary) Austin, and Johnnie Lamb; brothers: James Ray Hale, and Wade (Pat) Hale

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lavelle Hale, son, Kenny Hale, brothers: Walter E. Hale and Bobby Joe Hale, sister, Robbie Love.

Pallbearers are Mike Bennett, Mike Turner, Jim Cody, Jerry Booth, Wayne Bennett, and Keith Johnson.
