Theodore Franklin “Tommy” Trussell – Obituary

Theodore Franklin “Tommy” Trussell, 90, of Decatur passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Riverside Assisted Living. He was born January 8, 1928 to Walter and Kizzie Trussell. Mr. Trussell was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a retired operating engineer for TV, he was a Mason and also coached baseball for Little League for a number of years in Priceville. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Trussell; his son, James Trussell; his daughter, Deborah Bowen; four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by one daughter, Terrie Lynne Bentley (Kevin); three grandchildren, Barry Bowen, Keith Bowen and Casey Carden; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from noon to 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with his grandson, Brother Keith Bowen officiating.
