Felix “J.R.” Washington Westmoreland, Jr., 64, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at his home. He was born February 11, 1954, to Felix Washington and Bernice Cockrell Westmoreland, Sr. Before he retired, he was an electrical engineer for Cooper Tire and K.I. He was an avid fisherman and Harley-Davidson rider. He was a Baptist in belief.

Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, April 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Ronnie Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Westmoreland; four sons, David Westmoreland (Rolanda), Paul Westmoreland, Michael Westmoreland, and Dustin Vanover, all of Mantachie; three daughters, Felicia McCaine (Stacy) of Saltillo, Kimberly Wilson (Robert) of Guntown, and Tonya Bench (Jason) of Mantachie; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Westmoreland; one sister, Doris Green; one granddaughter, Madison Vanover; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 p. m. Wednesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
