Lisa Rena Young Scott, 50, of Waterloo, passed away, Saturday, April 7, 2018 after a 3 year battle with cancer. Her visitation will be Monday, April 9th from 5 pm until 9 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, April 10th at 5:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with David Dowdy and Larry Liles officiating. Burial will follow in Central Heights Community Cemetery.
Lisa was a member of Chisholm Hills Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her Father, Carl Robert Young; Aunt, Laura Haynes; grandparents, Dorothy and Doyle Young.
She is survived by her mother, Bessie Lou Young; daughter, Tia Beth Scott Parrish and her husband, Derek; their children, Brodie Carl Parrish and Beaun Paul Parrish; daughter, Carly Anne Scott Kelley and her husband Bradley Kelley; sister, Elizabeth Diane Woods, and her husband Randall; and their children, Monica Woods Arnett and Destinee Starr Woods.
The family expresses a special thank you to Hospice of the Shoals.
Lisa was loved by so many. Thanks to everyone who has showed love and support throughout this journey.
Pallbearers will be Larry Brown, Michael Brown, Ken Goode, Charles Chaney, Marty McGee, and Robin Patterson.
