Mildred Faye Baker – Obituary

Mildred Faye Baker, known as Faye, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 7, 2018 at the age of 83 with her loving daughter, Phyllis, by her side.

Faye was born on December 8, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee to Everette and Ruth Vandygriff Dale. Faye will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who worked hard for her family all of her life.

Faye will forever be in the hearts of her daughter Phyllis (Ricky), her grandsons Michael (Paul), Jonathan (Crystal), and Levi (Nicole). Kylie, Julia, Elena, and Kendyl are her four great-grandchildren who she loved so dearly. She is also survived by her siblings Glynn Dale, Ernest Dale, Danny Dale, and Shirley Davis and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter “Doc” Baker, her only son Michael Dean Baker, sister Imogene Scott, and brother Lynn Dale.

Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The burial service will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Michael Conner, Marvin Dale, Jonathan Conner, Jeff Dale, Levi Conner, and Trent Conner.

The family would like to thank the staff at NHC Columbia, Dr. Charles Ball, and Dr. Ben Gardner for their special care.
