Annette Daniel Tucker – Obituary

Annette Daniel Tucker, 81, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, April 6, 2018, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth. She was a dedicated member of Harmony United Methodist Church, and also of the Harmony United Methodist Women. She attended Central School, and was a 1954 graduate of Iuka High School. She loved music and sang and played guitar with “The Harmoniers”, “The Heartland Band”, and the “Iuka Opryhouse Band”. She cherished her family and friends and enjoyed sharing her joyous laughter and her famous fried pies with them. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2018, at Harmony United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Dollar and Bro. Jimmy Daniel. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, whom she married on September 25, 1954, Ralph Tucker of Iuka; one daughter, Anita Myatt (Roger) of Chattanooga, TN; one son, Dan Tucker of Jackson, MS; one sister, Linda Wallace (Jerald) of Cherokee, AL; one brother, Jimmy Daniel (Cathy) of Iuka; and one brother in law, Tommy Tucker (Dora Faye) of Pickwick, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Dudgar Daniel; two sisters, Joyce Robertson (Hurchel) and Virginia Morris; one niece, Myra Robertson Barnes; and one great nephew, Cory Barnes. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Cemetery Fund.
