Lila Mae Grissom, 85, of Florence, passed away April 3, 2018 at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with J.D. Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery.
Mrs. Grissom was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mary Butler; sisters, Gertie Hannah, Sarah Jackson, and Kathleen Richardson; and brothers, Dalton and Coy Butler.
She is survived by her son, Lynn Grissom; daughters, Donna Heath, Linda Moreland, and Jeanie Lovern; brothers, Johnny and Carlos Butler; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Tim Heath, Omar Itayim, Michael Hayes, Brian Hayes, Marty Owen, and Allan Hayes.
Joe Lovern and Jerry Wright will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and to the Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care of our loving mother.
