Geraldine Cook – Obituary

Geraldine Cook, 83, died Friday, March 30, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Mississippi to Herbert and Iona Oswalt Jamerson.  She worked in the cafeteria at Belmont School for many years and was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 1, 4:00 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Bridgmon and Bro. William McClellan officiating.  Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her two children-Ronnie Cook (Tammy) and Julie McKinney (Steven); two grandsons-Colby Cook (Kasey) and Colten McKinney; one great-grandson-Chance Cook; sister-in-law-Edna Earl Cook; Nieces-Betty, Brenda, Wanda, Janice, Patti and Leigh Anne and her son Chase; one nephew-Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband-Eugene Cook; her parents; and two brothers-J. B. Jamerson and Kenneth Jamerson.

Pallbearers will be Colby Cook, Colten McKinney, Ryan Jamerson, Allen Holcomb, Gilbert Armstrong, Ronald Gober, Harold Cleveland and Clyne Bates.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 1, 2-4 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
