George Frederic “Fred” Gatewood, age 75 passed away March 30, 2018. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Broker in real estate for many years. Former owner of Holiday Liquors. Avid golfer and enjoyed time with his friends. A true gentleman who spoke his mind, but also showed his heart. He will be sadly missed by all. Preceded in death by daughter, Amy Lyn Gatewood. Survived by: wife of 27 years, Linda S. Gatewood; son, Stuart Baron Gatewood; grandchild, Jessica Darian Heim-Gatewood; great grandchild, Layton Connor Spence; brother, Charles Gatewood and brother in law, Jason (Beverly) Sisk. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, April 2, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon prior to the service.
