Edna Modena Jones – Obituary

Edna Modena Jones, 88, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Courtyards Community Living Center. She was born December 3, 1929, to Jessie James and Lucy Franks Stacy. She worked as a seamstress for Lee Sportswear and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her dachshund dogs.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Jim Minor of Mantachie; three grandchildren, Caitlan, Dillon, and Cody; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Cebron Minor, Jessie C. Howard, and William Earl Jones; one son, Mitchell Minor; two twin sisters, Luevenie Ratliff and Maxine Malone; two brothers, Ellis Stacy and Lester Stacy; and her parents.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.
