Ronald Peter Baraglia – Obituary

Ronald Peter Baraglia, 83, of Decatur, passed away on March 29, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Reverend Phil Morgan officiating. His visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Ron is survived by his children, Ronda Grigsby (Ed) of Augusta, Georgia, Donald Baraglia (Kellie) and Ronald Baraglia, both of Decatur; and grandchildren, Chassittie Baraglia, Michael Grigsby, Cameron Lane and David Grigsby.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jean Baraglia; his parents; his sister, Joan; and many aunts and uncles.

Ron was born in New Britain, Connecticut to parents, John and Mary Baraglia on September 2, 1934. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was an engineer with Raytheon, IBM, and Prestolite. He was a longtime member of the Decatur Elks Club, American Legion, and VFW. He was loved by many family and friends. Ron was a true Alabama fan and an avid sportsman. Ron accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and passed to his heavenly home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
