James Madison “Jimmy” Maxwell Jr, age 80 of College Grove, TN passed away March 27, 2018. Jimmy attended the Peytonsville Methodist Church. Family and friends were Jimmy’s love and joy. He took pride in building homes and put his heart and soul in building the best homes around the Williamson County area. He enjoyed fishing and made a family tradition of racing that his son and grandson carries on. Preceded in death by his parents, James Madison Maxwell Sr. and Flossie Ella McGee Maxwell; Survived by: Wife of 61 years, Ruby Jean Tomlin Maxwell; son, James Madison (Paulette) Maxwell, III; daughter, Donna Jean (Keith) Roberson; son, Jeffrey Thomas (Rhonda) Maxwell and son, Jason Karl Maxwell; Grandchildren, Kyle Maxwell, Amanda (Adam) Bogle, Sam (Bethany) Maxwell, Crystal Roberson, Angie (Nathan) Williams, Justin (Kayla) Maxwell and Katie Maxwell; great grandchildren, Madi and Sadi Bogle, Lane, Lacey and Luke Williams, Karley, Jace and Zaiden Maxwell and a sister, Carol Watkins. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Hershel Osborne & Bobby Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Kyle, Sam & Justin Maxwell, Adam Bogle, Jerry & Joey Glenn, Randy Giles and Nathan Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy & Keith Knight, Lewis Mosley, James Bruce, Flookie Buford, William & Frank Reed, Harold Maxwell, Daryl Waggoner, Jimmy Crowell & Bobby Dickson. Memorials may be made to Peytonsville Methodist Church.
