Betty Lou Meadows Stewart – Obituary

Betty Lou Meadows Stewart, 85 years old of Town Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018  from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Graham, officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Betty graduated from Hatton High School, was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion #1 Missionary Baptist Church, Wolf Springs. She was a Mother to three, but Mamaw to many.

Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Lee Stewart, her parents: Jewell H Meadows Sr. and Margaret E Willis Meadows, four brothers: JM Meadows, Ray Meadows,
Jewell H “Sonny” Meadows, and Eldon Eugene “Gene” Meadows.

She is survived by one son: Mike Stewart, two daughters: Sue Saint (Coy) and Beverly Stewart all of Town Creek, four grandchildren: Bonnie Campbell Dean (Brent), Chris Stewart (Casey). Trent Stewart (Kelli) and Ashley Saint, five great grandchildren: AJ Burbank, Zaylee Madyson Dean, Kaizlee Addyson Dean, Jagger Ridge Dean and Esther Elizabeth Stewart, one brother: Billy Meadows (Carol), nine nieces and six nephews, special friends: Whitney Hamby, Betty Frost, Kayila Barnett and JD Story.

Pallbearers will be: Greg Randolph, Randy Meadows, Terry Franks, Terry Harbison, Duwain Brundage and Lyndon Blaxton.  Honorary Pallbearers are:  Zachery Randolph, Jerry Scoggin,
David Briley, Gordon Parker, Vernon Parker and Jon Brett Smith.

The family would like to say a Special Thanks to Dr. William Hobbs, Dr. John Reinke, Kindred Hospice, Azleigh, Jamie, Anthony and staff and Betty Frost, Whitney Hamby, Cathy Wood and Shirley Nelson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kindred Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
