Roy Brown Harmond of Pulaski passed away on March 25, 2018. He was born in Pulaski on December 29, 1959 and was 58 years old. Roy loved the outdoors. He loved to ride dune buggies, shoot pool, play cards, people and animals. He was a caregiver to many. Roy loved his family, above all else. He was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather. He had a wonderful since of humor and cared about everyone’s happiness.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 27the from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service follows on Wednesday, March 28th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial takes place in Maplewood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Frank Harmond.
He is survived by his, Wife of 33 years, Gina Taylor Harmond of Pulaski
Mother, Joanne Beets Russell of Pulaski
Son, Ryan (Amelia) Harmond of Fayetteville
Step-son, Doug (Tonya) Yokley of Pulaski
Step-daughter, Sabrina Yokley of Pulaski
Granddaughter, Sydney Myles of Pulaski
Sister, Cindy Harmond of Huntsville
Brother, David Allen (Renee) Harmond of Brentwood
Half-brother, Matt Harmond of Pulaski and Half-sister, Mechelle Russell of Florida
Brother-in-law, Bobby Taylor, Sister-in-law, Rene Mendenhall, Sister-in-law, Debbie (Wade)Pope, Brother-in-law, Mike Wallace, and Father-in-law, Bobby D. Taylor all of Pulaski
Special great niece, Karstyn Pope and his cat “Pete” and very best friend and boss, Tony Armstrong.
Several Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Roy Brown Harmond.
