Mr. Marlin Ray Beasley, age 64, of Arab passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Beasley was born on April 21, 1973 in Shelby County, Alabama to Hubert Edward Beasley and Gladys Mae Tidwell. He was married to Jessie Mae Hyde Beasley for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing, Alabama football, Nascar Racing, spending time with his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, he was also a shade tree mechanic.
He is a member of both New Life Tabernacle Church & Assembly of Love Outreach.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Jessie Mae Beasley; sons and daughter-in-laws, Steven B. & April Beasley, Robby L. & Amber Beasley; daughter, Angela Beasley; brothers and sister-in-laws, James Arthur & Louise Beasley, Hubert Earl & Gayle Beasley, Ted & Wanda Beasley, Doug & Debbie Beasley; sisters and brother-in-laws, Sandra Faye & Tommy Hanner, Linda Gail & Dwight Henry, Doris & Robert Dixon; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Marlin Ray Beasley, Jr.; brothers, Tommy Joe Beasley, Willie Lee Beasley.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Dean Smith & Bro. Derek Sherrill, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Oak-Ruth Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Saturday March 24, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to assist with funeral expense.
