Mrs. Linda Dianne Hope Creel, 74 of Owens Cross Roads, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 23, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Creel was born in Marshall county to Alton Leon Hope and Mary Nell Dalrymple Hope. She grew up in the Gurley community also in Marshall county. Mrs. Creel worked as a property manager before she retired. She enjoyed working with her husband, Jerry, for a number of years restoring old homes. Once the work was complete they would thoroughly enjoy their completed project by moving in and living in their new home until Mrs. Creel would find their next renovating project. She also enjoyed working in her yard growing beautiful flowers and always working to improve the landscape of her home. Many times over the years she could be found working on her latest drawing or painting project. A true example of her artistic talents. She enjoyed her church as well as her church family. One of her grandest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She loved them so and always enjoyed them being around.
Mrs. Creel is predeceased by her parents and sisters Dawn Washington and Gaynell Barksdale.
She is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Creel, sons Jeff Ragen and Brian (Lezlee) Ragan, daughter Sherry (Tommy) Myers, grandchildren Alex Meyers, Grant Regan, Bailey Meyers, Halle Ragan, Sawyer Ragan, Houston Ragan, Nick Ragan.
