Bonnie Mae Thornton Shumpert, 62, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. She was born August 16, 1955 to the late Verlon Thornton and the late Tamiko Hashimoto Thornton. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She also loved her animals and most of all spending time with her grandson.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday March 22, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Thornton officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Thursday.
Survivors include her daughter, Jordan Shumpert of Fulton; grandson, Nathan Shumpert; sisters: Diane Aron of Fulton and Susan (Kerry) Deshotels of Lafayette, LA; brothers: Tony (Deborah) Thornton of Nashville and Michael (Diana) Thornton of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents.
