Lemuel Edward “Sam” Reid, 87, of Dennis, MS, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. John Bray, Bro. Jerome Johnson, and Sabrina Thorne. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery with masonic and military honors. Pallbearers include Ralph Winchester, Mike Winchester, Jim Blunt, Charles Zuber, Zachary Zuber, and James Zuber. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Linda Zuber Reid of Dennis; three sons, Jonathan Reid of Fresno, CA, Col. Matthew Reid (Gwynne), of Camp Lejeune, NC, and Aaron Reid (Carmen) of Boston, MA; two daughters, Donna Lunsford (David) of Palm Coast, FL, and Janice Driscoll (Sean) of Sebastian, FL; one brother, Danny Reid (Joycie) of Tishomingo; two sisters, Peggy Hill (Charles) of Tishomingo, and Patsy Wilson of Booneville; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayborn and Amy Winchester Reid; a son, Eddie Reid; one grandchild, Jonathan Merlino; a brother, David Reid; and a sister, Mary W. South.
