James M. “Bill” McDuffy, 93, of Iuka, MS, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and served in WWII as well as other conflicts. He was a member of the American Legion Post #15 of Iuka, and the VFW in Corinth. In his spare time he thoroughly enjoyed fishing. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Mike Edwards. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, March 20, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two sons, Jessie McDuffy (Debra) of Iuka and Brett McDuffy (Lee) of Corinth; two daughters, Rhonda Davis (Ken) of Corinth and Jana Oglesby (Melvin) of Glen; three brothers, James Hershel McDuffy of Iuka, Sam McDuffy of Iuka, and Jack McDuffy of Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Mamie Adams of Iuka; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera May Dell McDuffy; his parents, James Alford McDuffy and Verdie Gray McDuffy; and his sister, Christine Gray.
