Gayla Ann Whitehead, 50, of Florence passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Matt Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Central Heights Community Cemetery.
Gayla was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kilburn; grandparents, Arthur and Pauline Lambert; brothers, Randy and Billy Kilburn; and infant child, Korey Kilburn.
She is survived by her sons, Isaac Jordan Burgess and Joshua Whitehead; daughters, Jasmine Kilburn and JoyAnna Whitehead; mother, Joan Thompson (Steve); brother, Brian Kilburn; sister, Callie Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brandon Tittle, Corey Pounders, Drew Green, Jacob McGregor, Isaac Jordan Burgess, and Joshua Whitehead.
The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice and to Grace Life Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Life Church.
