Funeral services for Mr. Fielder “Mutt Essary” Fortner, age 91, are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Spain Cemetery. Mr. Fortner passed away Saturday in Jackson, Tn.He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and retired factory and farm worker. Mr. Fortner was born July 15, 1926 in Henderson County to the late; Charlie Fortner, Bessie Garner Fortner and Martha Jane Essary. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and special friend and neighbor- Jamie Shore. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers- Elmer Fortner, Floyd Essary, F. Lindsey and Eff Lindsey. 6 sisters- Martha Couch, Loudell Flowers, Opal Kirk, Flola Drinkard, Lucille Carnell and Frances Carnell.
