Nella Jean Bostick – Obituary

Nella Jean Bostick, 84, formerly of Fulton, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at her home in Tupelo. She was born April 11, 1933, in Itawamba County to Fred and Ozell Wilson Oliver. She was a minister for over 50 years in the Church of God of Prophesy, where she was very active. She enjoyed cooking, especially for her family.

Services will be at 1:00 p. m. Monday, March 19, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Lenda Gunter and Billy Joe Ewing officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Marvis V. Bostick, Sr; one son, Marvis V. “Sammy” Bostick, Jr. (Karla) of Saltillo; one daughter, Sandra Kay Bostick Dozier (Bobby) of Jacksonville, NC; five sisters, Laurie Gilbert, Bonnie Williamson, Mary Garrett, Rosie Neri, and Sue Morin, all of Illinois; four grandchildren, Katie Bostick, Robyn Bostick, Jacob Bostick, and Nikki Dozier; two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Homer, T.A., and Kenny Bostick; one sister, Martha Young; one grandchild, Joe Finley; two great grandchildren, Grayson Finley and Landon Findley; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Bostick, Eric Ferguson, Randy Rogers, Eddie Harden, Jim Jackson, Billy West, Edwin Pharr, and John Young.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p. m. Sunday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
