Joyce Faye Christopher, 75 of Haleyville passed away on March 15, 2017 in Birmingham.
She was born on September 11, 1942 in Hackleburg, AL. Joyce was a lifelong member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church where she was a member of Joyful Noise Sunday School Class. She graduated from Hackleburg High School and went on to become a Public Accountant. She never stopped learning and loved to travel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 form 12-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Dr. Lance Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Corinth Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jason (Tanya) Christopher, Kayren Howton and Kristi Christopher; brothers, Jerry (Sue) Dickert and Joe (Marlene) Dickert; great grandchildren, Noah Hadder, Jeremy Christopher, Jackson Christopher and David, Jermea, Jr.; niece, Tonya (Barry) Aaron; and Jeremy (Debbie) Dickert and Jerome (Sheila) Dickert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Chris) Walter Christopher; son, David Christopher; father, Joe Thomas Dickert, mother, Martha Frances Cox; brothers, James Clyde Dickert, Travis Bascom Dickert; and mother in law, Louise Christopher.
