Arvin Cannon Puckett – Obituary

Arvin Cannon Puckett, 83, of Phil Campbell, passed away Monday March 12, 2018 at his residence. Arvin was born August 27, 1934 in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy and was also retired from the Alabama National Guard.

He is survived by his children, Beverly (Joe) Pickett, Pam (Jimmy) Mitchell, Sidney (Lynne) Jones and Cannon (Bessie) Sanders. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Puckett.

Visitation will be today March 15th starting at noon until service time beginning at 2 p.m. at the Mount Hope Church in Hamilton with Elvis Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank Keller Home Care and Keller Hospice, doctors and nurses at Shoals and ECM Hospitals. A special thank you to Doctor Dorene Morris and staff and also Randy Jackson and his staff at Hamilton Funeral Home.
