Gwindola J. Johnson Thorn, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Country Wood Plantation in Mantachie . She was born August 18, 1927 to the late Arch Johnson and the late Opal Waddle Stevens. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday March 10, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Saturday March 10 at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her Son, Maynard L. (Patricia) Thorn of Fulton, Grandchildren, Melody (Stephen) Stroud of Huntsville, AL, Matthew J. Thorn of Fulton, and Michael L. (Elizabeth) Thorn of Fulton, Great-grandchildren, Mary Stroud of Huntsville, Anna Stroud of Huntsville, and Allison Thorn of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sinurd A. Thorn and her parents.
