Ella Mae “Tut” Gardner passed away Sunday, March 11th, 2018, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Pulaski. She was born in Giles County November 14th, 1942 and was 75 years old.
She completed her education through the Giles County School system and accepted Christ at an early age at Watson Tabernacle Primitive Baptist Church in Pulaski. Later she moved her membership to Matthew’s House of Praise in Pulaski. She continued to give loyal services throughout the community and assist others over the years. She loved to cook and give to others.
Visitation will be 11:00am to 12:00 noon Thursday, March 15th, 2018, at Bennet-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon Thursday in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis Gardner. He parents Billy and Ada Marks Britton, Sr. along with her sister Vesta Lou Britton Smith.
She is survived by;
Daughter Juanita Reynolds of Athens, AL.
Son Robert Glen (Regina) Gardner of Lewisburg.
Son Billy Gardner of Pulaski.
Son James Lewis (Chakeelal) Gardner of Pulaski
Son David Wayne (DeShana) Gardner of Pulaski.
3 Sisters, Linda Brown, Jane Gilbert, and Mary (Kevin) White of Pulaski.
2 Brothers, Billy (Dorothy) Britton, Jr. and Samuel Edward Britton of Pulaski.
15 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren.
Several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and relatives also survive.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Ella Mae “Tut” Gardner.
