FLORENCE-Come join us on Friday March 30, 2018 as the Shoals Theatre welcomes James Leblanc! LeBlanc has written hits with artists such as Travis Tritt (“Modern Day Bonnie & Clyde”), Jason Aldean (“Relentless”), Gary Allen (“Learning How To Bend”), Rascal Flatts (“Feels Like Today,” “Where You Are”), Martina McBride (“Make Me Believe”), Kenny Chesney (“I Remember”), Thompson Square (“My Kind Of Crazy”), Jo Dee Messina (“Breakin’ It Down”), Tim McGraw & Faith Hill (“Roll The Dice”), Candi Staton (“I Ain’t Easy To Love” also performed by John Paul White and Jason Isbell) , James Otto (“Good Things Gone Bad”), Sarah Evans (“Show Me The Way To Your Heart”), Billy Ray Cyrus (“Don’t Give Up On Me,” “I Can’t Live Without Your Love”), Chris LeDoux (“Daily Bread”), & even the cast of the hit TV Show Nashville (“Simple As That” sung by Deacon in Season 5)!

Leblanc’s credits keep rolling beyond this little list! Its no wonder albums featuring songs written or co-written by James LeBlanc have sold over 25 million units! LeBlanc recently decided to release an album full of songs that mean the most to him.  Dreamlined Entertainment released “Nature Of The Beast” in the fall of 2017. This release garnered the attention of Rolling Stone Magazine who named LeBlanc a “Top 10 New Country Artist to Watch.” James will share the stage with Angela Hacker. A talented songwriter and musician, Hacker has an impressive record herself. A former Warner Brothers Recording Artist, Hacker already has two albums under her belt. Hacker is foremost a songwriter with credits on albums by Candi Staton, Kristen Kelly (Modern Day Drifters), and Sarah Lou Richards. Her powerhouse vocals have been featured on albums by Montgomery Gentry, Cowboy Troy, Ugli Stick, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Dylan Leblanc, James Leblanc, and more! Take a few minutes and listen to her Album “Don’t Waste Your Pretty.” James and Angela will be joined by their friends and band-mates from The Winchesters, Jimmy Nutt (Grammy Award winning Engineer) & Evan Lane.

Opening for LeBlanc is up and coming Nashville artist and country star, Brendan Young featuring Shoals native Ben Parker on lead guitar. Young was featured in the Texaco Country showdown and recently finished up a residency on the Showboat Branson Belle in Branson, MO. Young is currently recording his first full length album after releasing two EPs. Young will be joined on stage by his full band with special guest Ben Parker of the Ben Parker Project. Parker trained on guitar under the watchful eye of Muscle Shoals guitar legend Travis Wommack.

This is the second show in a series that benefits upgrades to sound, projection, and lighting at the Shoals Community Theatre! The goal of these upgrades is to be able to screen independent movies and documentaries as well as provide in house audio and visual support to artists who perform at the Theatre. The Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit that aims to culturally enrich the Shoals with theatrical performances, live musical acts, independent film screenings, and more!
