Fannie Laura Cooper Turman – Obituary

Fannie Laura Cooper Turman, 87, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at her home in Clarksville, TN. She was born February 7, 1931, to Loanzo Eugene and Lena Ozelle Nanney Cooper. She loved taking care of her family and friends and was loved by all who met her. She had a kind heart and loved Jesus. The treasures she left in all our hearts will be a comfort to each of us. Her wish was for us all to be kind and loving to one another just as she always taught. She is truly God’s angel returning to Heaven.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Eddie Boutwell officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Peppertown.

Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Cardenas of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one brother, Cotton Cooper of Mooreville; and one sister, Bobbie Holloway of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Turman; two sons, David M. Turman and Douglas Turman; one daughter, Linda Turman Clifford; one grandson, Joshua Sloan; her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Russell, Jamie Russell, Eric Clifford, Bobby Lee Clifford, Kenneth Ellis, and Jody Mott.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at the funeral home.
