Lorene Inez Nichols, 92, died Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Kenosha, WI. She was born January 19, 1926 in Alabama. She had worked as a caregiver for twenty years and was of the Methodist faith.
Services will be Friday, March 9, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Carol Nichols and Walton Nichols; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three children – Eugene Nichols, Jerry Nichols and Sharon Keeton; five brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Watson, Harold Watson, Michael Watson, Ethan Hammock and David Hammock.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
