Fay Parrish, 90, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born November 15, 1927 in the Pogo Community in Alabama. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, MS.
Services will be Wednesday, March 7, 11 a.m. at Liberty Church of Christ with David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by two sons – Monty Parrish (Danielle) Asheville, NC and Keith Parrish (Denise) Madison, AL; four grandchildren – Andrew Parrish (Megan), Rob, Ty and Leslie Parrish; one brother – Thomas Parrish (Ann); two sisters – Linda McKinney (Jack) and Shirley Bostick and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Murzie Parrish, his parents, Robert and Edna Malone Parrish and three brothers, Vernon, Bob and Ray Parrish.
Pallbearers will be Mike Burton, Ricky Lindsey, Steven McKinney, Sheryl Pardue, Mitch Parrish and Ashley Parrish.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 6-8 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ.
The family would like to acknowledge with gratitude the services of his caregivers, Linda Merino and Mike Cody.
