Jimmie Opal Bradley – Obituary

Jimmie Opal Bradley, age 99, of Brashiers Chapel Community in Arab, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Bradley was born on December 20, 1918 in Denton, Texas to J.K. McCollum and Clara Agnes McKinney McCollum. Opal retired in May 1981 after 38 years of teaching, she loved teaching and was remembered by many of her students as a wonderful teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband M.T. “Brad” Bradley. Mrs. Bradley had lived in the Arab area since 1995, formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was a member of Old Brashiers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Opal is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Marlin “Tom” Bradley & Connie of Arab; sister, Anna Lou Roberts of Fredrick, Ok. She was a beloved “Memaw” to 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home directing.
