Edward Andrew Stude – Obituary

Mr. Edward Andrew Stude, of Franklin, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the age of 87.
Edward was born to parents, Andrew and Magdalena (Berna) Stude in Elgin, IL. He grew up as an only child and attended St. Edward High School. In 1951, he was drafted into the Army and was assigned to active combat in the Signal Corp during the Korean War; 40th Division, 8th Infantry Division. He served from 1951 to 1953 and was honorably discharged. He received the Korean Service Medal with Three Bronze Service Stars, Certified Army Sharpshooter, United Nations Service Medal and Two Overseas Bars.
In 1953, he married his high school sweetheart, Dolores Kroeger. Edward is survived by his wife Dolores, his daughter Diana Stude, sons; David and Mary (Stock) Stude, Robert and Mary Ann (Healy) Stude, Thomas and Maureen (Colgan) Stude, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will be having a private service where Edward will be buried at the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
