Dempsey Otho Flemings, of Mt. Hope passed from this life, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lawrence Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday, March 2, 2018 at New Zion Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 2, 2018 at New Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Fitzgerald and Mark Craig officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in The Cameron Family Cemetery.

Mr. Flemings was an Army Veteran and a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Wanda Cameron Flemings, two daughters: Brigitte Sibley (Jeff) and Misti Hopkins (Brad), three grandsons: Cason Sibley, Beau Hopkins (Kadie) and Jordan Sibley, five granddaughters: Rye Sibley Elzey (Mitchell), Sunny Hopkins, Ivy Sibley, Reiny Hopkins and Lynnsey Sibley, two great grandchildren: Brodie Gillespie and Ada McElroy, one sister: Melba Hill (Harce) and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wiley Flemings and Willie Coan Flemings., three brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Joey Harville, Will Newton, Max Flemings, Carl Cameron, Clarence Coan and Dwayne Coan.
