William Guy Collier, 96, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Facility. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ, a member of the American Legion Post 11, and retired from TVA.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, from 11 a.m. to noon at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Randy Baker officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elmer Perry, Perry Scott, Lance Perry, John Wallace, Lester Wallace, and Ronnie Wallace.
Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston and Emma Collier; wife, Rosa Nell Collier; sisters, Anna Collier and Edith Truitt; and brothers, Belton and James Collier.
He is survived by a special brother-in-law, Elmer Perry, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rogersville Funeral Home is assisting the family.
