Raymond Doyal Taylor, 84 of Haleyville, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. He was born April 24, 1933 to Jasper Walter and Ruthie Pearl-Taylor. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Waldrop Free Will Baptist Church, Haleyville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home- Haleyville , where the service will be held at 11:00 a.m. . Bro. Jeff Boyles will officiate the service. Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Jean Taylor; sons, Mike (Sandi) Taylor and Joe (Becky) Taylor; daughter, Tonya (Jerry) Corsbie; brother, Horace (Mary) Taylor; sister, Wilma (Aubra) Lowman; grandchildren, Marnie (Jason) Albertson, Josh (Misty) Taylor, Tasha Taylor, Derek (Megan) Corsbie, and JoAnna (Drew) Hulsey; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jenny Lynne Corsbie; parents, Jasper Walter and Ruthie Pearl Taylor; sister, Shirley Dean Taylor; and brothers, Jasper Wilton Taylor and James Lyndon Taylor.
