Terry Kelly Harper, age 71, of Shiloh Community, between Hamilton and Hackleburg, Alabama, passed from this life February 21st, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Born October 30, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama, he is the son of Leburn and Neatie Gann. He remained in Shiloh most of his life and served the local community for over 40 years as a member of law enforcement, the last 35 years as Chief of Police in Hackleburg, Alabama. He was a life long member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was passionate about studying the Bible. He loved football, politics, and being right but mostly he loved his girls. His precious wife of 51 years and his four daughters. His legacy continues with his 10 Grandchildren and Great-Granddaughter.

Survivors include his Wife, Sherry Cantrell Harper; 4 Daughters, Tracey (Sparta) Cagle, Tammy (Chris) Hunter, Tara (Randy) Branscome, and Tabatha Kelly Harper; 10 Grandcildren, Benjamin Cagle , Allison (William) Cain, Leah Cagle, Wesley Cagle, Hayley Hunter, Monica Hunter, Miranda Hunter, Sarah Hunter, Harper Branscome, and Julia Branscome; 1 Great-Granddaughter, Lilah Cain; 3 Sisters, Ann (Jim) Sanderson, Louise Williamson, and Lucille (Billy) Stidham; a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends, including Jamie Dunn who had become dear to him.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Leburn and Neatie Gann; 1 Granddaughter, Sophie Dale Branscome.

The family will receive friends at the Shiloh Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday February 23rd, 2018 with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Dwayne Satterwhite and Tim Graben officiating.
