Betty Parker Strait, age 71, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 23, noon-2 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sonny Owens officiating. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Betty was a member of Underwood Baptist Church and Florence Senior Citizen Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Harriell; husband, Garland Parker; and infant daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Strait children, Tracy Cole (Michael), Donnie Strait (Teresa), Eddie Strait (Monica), and Carol Jean Thompson; sister, Glennis Lewis; sisters-in-law, Jimmy-Nell Spivey (Herschel), Diane Wright, and Dale Landers (Kenneth); grandchildren, Cody Berry (Brittany), Carly Behel, Camryn Behel, Jacob Cole, and Abby Cole; great-grandchildren, Eva Grace and Elsa Claire Berry; and special friend, Kelly Sullivan Bowling.
