Funeral service for Ruth Vest Garner, 73, will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garner died on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hospice Family Care. She was born November 10, 1944, in Morgan County to Leeman Lankston Vest and Fannie Grace Thomas Vest. She was a retired School Teacher for the Morgan County School System, working for Falkville Elementary School. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
