Carl Stephen “Too” Mitchell, II, age 24, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in a tragic car accident.

Too was a 2011 graduate of Phil Campbell High School and then attended Northwest Shoals. He was a millwright at Redstone Arsenal and had always enjoyed construction. He was a fun and adventurous man, who loved fishing, riding four wheelers, Auburn football, and hanging out with his friends. He loved his mom and dad dearly, as well as all of his family and friends.

The visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Merrell Potter officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lenice Mitchell; grandfather, Lester Mitchell; and uncles, Charles Mitchell and Avery Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his dad, Carl Mitchell (Shelia Martin); mother, Betsy Trapp (husband, JoRudi); sister, Michele Mitchell; brother, Eric Mitchell; grandparents, Bonnie & Bill Baker, Bob Sousa, Joey & Tammy Trapp; special nanny, Marceline Lindsey; great-grandparents, Emmitt & Geneva Allen, Charles & Betty Williams; aunt, Ruthie Franklin; several other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.
